The Enterprise (CV-6) was the most decorated ship in the US Navy during WW II. It is one of the most famous aircraft carriers of all time.
Aircraft carriers in 1:350 scale or larger are very attractive builds because the model is big enough to allow for an amazing amount of detail such as the hanger deck, elevators, and of course the aircraft. This is a big project, so I will working on this one for a number of months. I plan to use a lighting kit to show off hanger deck detail and add an after-market wood flight deck.
The I Love it Kit (from Trumpeter) in 1:350 scale with included PE (Photo Etch) is on the workbench.
